The reason why I discovered kickbikes was a very accidental opportunity. I am a salesman, and so I spend a lot of time in front of the computer typing and driving a car. Because of this, I started to get a lot of back and shoulder aches. After middle age, my family history also caused me to have high triglycerides(triglycerides are fat in the blood).To heal these problems, one must take medicine but more importantly exercise. At first I swam, but the pool was expensive and far from my house.

Then, I met the Kickbike designer Hannu. I realized that his exercise method was a lot like swimming, and that there were many advantages to his kickbike. I started using the kickbike to do my required exercise.
Strange to say, after using this kickbike my blood triglycerides were lowered and back and shoulder aches disappeared.

Every day, I use my evening free time to ride about 30-40 km, which usually takes about two hours. For the first 15km I keep the my speed to 20-25km/hour. Mainly to start sweating and keep my heart rate at 120-130 beats per minute. I dot his for exercise and health purposes. The remainder of my ride is for Pleasure. I ride at 15-20km to appreciate the scenery and reduce the day's pressure.
